If you think there are no places left on Cornwall to buy CDs or Vinyl records, you are wrong. This is a list of my favourites.
Music Nostalgia, Truro
Music Nostalgia is one of the biggest record shops in the South West.
This is an Aladdin’s cave for vinyl fans. Some are quite expensive but this is the largest selection of new and old vinyl in Cornwall. You would need to go to Rooster Records in Exeter to find anything similar. There is also a an extensive selection of CDs and box sets. Nostalgia Records cater for all styles and genres. Expect to spend a few hours browsing when you go.

Jam Records, Falmouth
Jam Records has been named as one of the best record shops in the UK.
As you would expect being in Falmouth and the home of the local university. This is a shop that is part art / coffee shop and cool vinyl heaven. Lots of jazz and some rare classic rock downstairs. It stocks the latest releases from obscure indie artists alongside rare vinyl pressings and music and art mags,
Once you have chosen you music you can also site down and enjoy fine coffee and homemade cakes!

Lost In Music, Camborne
It’s easy to lose yourself in this store’s impressive collection.
Record collectors will be forgiven for being overwhelmed upon first paying this shop a visit. Lost In Music brands itself as being “typically old school”, so you won’t find them on social media or online.

What you will find in-store however is a huge haul of vintage vinyl records stacked from the floor to the ceiling. It’s well worth a visit and you never know what you might find in this treasure trove of a collection.

Bodmin is the place to go for vinyl-hunting metal heads.
This Bodmin-based record store specialises in heavy rock and metal, but plenty of other genres are waiting to be explored here.
Room 33 Records stocks a wide range of music memorabilia too, along with CDs, and of course an abundance of vinyl.

Daisy Laing, Penzance
From the outside this looks like a furniture shop …and it does sell things to sit on!
However, it also has a fine selection of vinyl. All the records and cleaned and graded and I think priced really well. This means the turn over is fast and each time you go there is something else to tempt you.
I have bought lots of rare and unusual records from here and love visiting it.
