Bonham – Bullick – Video Review

Bonham – Bullick (2022)  Quarto Valley Records

Please watch the video review above for the full review

One of the best blues based rock albums I have heard in a long while.
Deborah Bonham sings like an angel, with a voice that is never forced. This is music that comes directly from the heart. The interaction between Deborah and guitarist Peter Bulick is amazing.

Peter was the guitarist in Paul Rodgers band when he did his tribute to FREE. His has real feel in his playing and some of the album does sound like Back Street Crawler in places. The album flows so well and creates such a wonderful atmosphere for the listener. The songs are classic blues songs and lesser know numbers but each one has been arranged in a way they sound like original numbers. This is not a paint by numbers blues album at all, it is contemporary, traditional and full of passion.

This is an album for that late night listening session, 60 minutes of blues rock. Pour yourself a fine single malt and sit back and enjoy.
