They Might Be Giants ‘Book’ Deluxe Edtion
140 Cloth Bound Book Featuring photography by Brian Karlsson.
I have chosen to feature this due to the visual presentation as well as the music. This is the sort of sized book you would find in a box set costing £100-£200. Instead what we have here is a book of this size holding just one CD, the latest album from indie rock band ‘They Might Be Giants.
One of my other passions is photography and this set appealed to me for the quirky photos all taken around the Brooklyn area of New York. The music is power pop/rock which is in places as quirky as the photos with touches of Squeeze, REM, The Connels, The Beach Boys all with a light sprinkling of Frank Zappa in places.
This is the band’s 23rd album!
