This deluxe edition is graced with Steven Wilson’s masterfully remastered version of the original album, available on both CD and LP formats. Dive into two never-before-released concerts from 1971, capturing the band’s essence just before and after the album’s release. These live recordings feature iconic tracks like “Yours Is No Disgrace” and “Perpetual Change”, as well as classics like “Astral Traveller” and “Everydays” from their 1970 album, “Time and a Word”.
Steve Howe, the band’s guitarist, reflects on the album, stating, “The Yes Album is the embodiment of 70’s Yes. Our unique blend of influences, combined with cutting-edge technology, resulted in unparalleled originality in both music and lyrics.”
The Blu-ray disc is a treasure trove, offering four distinct mixes of “The Yes Album”, including two immersive 5.1 Surround Sound versions, the 2023 Remaster, and the groundbreaking Dolby Atmos Mix.
