Release Date: August 16th, 2024

Proper Records, in collaboration with Universal Music Recordings, is thrilled to announce the vinyl reissue of the super-rare and highly sought-after album, “It’ll All Work Out In Boomland” by T2. Originally released on Decca in July 1970, this collector’s curio is set to hit the shelves once again, much to the delight of progressive rock enthusiasts.

A Brief History of T2

T2 emerged from the ashes of Bulldog Breed, featuring the talents of Bernard Jinks on bass, guitarist and vocalist Keith Cross, and drummer Peter Dunton, who previously played with Gun. Both Dunton and Jinks also had stints in the group Neon Pearl. With their combined musical prowess and a sizeable advance, they crafted an album that has become a dream for collectors: “It’ll All Work Out In Boomland.

The album is celebrated for its impeccable musicianship, blending blues influences with the expansive freedom of progressive rock. It was initially pressed in limited quantities, making original copies highly valuable and often discussed in reverent tones among collectors. The album’s extended tunes and superb execution have cemented its status as a hidden gem in the progressive rock genre.

This long-deleted masterpiece is now being reissued, paying scrupulous attention to the details of the original UK first pressing. Presented on audiophile 180gm vinyl, this reissue promises superior sound quality, making it a perfect addition to any collection. Whether you’re looking to replace a cherished original or add this iconic album to your collection for the first time, this reissue provides an exceptional way to experience T2’s enduring and influential music.

Hallo Phil,
great memories of this album, in the early 70s when I visited my best friend and music buddy Peter to play our latest record purchases to each other as usual, one of these was the T2 album which he highly recommendet to me and I agreed, unfortunately I didn’t buy this LP back then, there were so many interesting bands with their albums ! have the ethelion re-issue and bought the Cherry Red 3 CD box set some years ago. T 2 is an example of brilliant bands that were in the 2nd tier or as I like to say ‘in the shadow of the giants’ ! and I love to collect them, as many as I can discover and get. Kind regards from Berlin
