The Essence of Now Spinning Magazine
I used to love getting the music papers on a Wednesday—Sounds, Melody Maker, and NME. Meeting my friends after work for a couple of beers and talking about the latest music we’d heard, read about, or seen live was a ritual. We’d dive down rabbit holes of music, discovering new genres and artists through guest appearances and collaborations. This sense of discovery and community is what I aim to recreate with Now Spinning Magazine.
If you’re passionate about music, still love buying physical media whether it’s on CD or vinyl, and cherish the experience of exploring new sounds and old favorites, Now Spinning Magazine is for you. Our community spans the globe, united by a love for music in all its forms.
A Music Community Without Drama
I’ve built Now Spinning Magazine to be a safe space—a place where music lovers can come together without the drama. Here, you won’t find clickbait or harsh critiques. There’s no “10 Albums That Suck” or “Worst to Best” rankings. Instead, it’s like meeting friends at the pub for a chat about music, filled with respect, kindness, and a genuine love for the subject.
Every review and feature is honest, objective, and from the heart. I’m enthusiastic about the music I cover, and if something can educate, help, or bring a smile to someone’s face, it’s worth sharing. I can’t be passionate about being negative, so if it’s not my thing, I simply won’t talk about it.
Exciting Content and Genuine Connections
This month is packed with exciting content. For those new to the channel, please subscribe—it helps extend the reach and influence of what I’m doing here. This isn’t a side gig for me; it’s a full-time project fueled by passion. Your feedback is invaluable, and I get thousands of wonderful comments each month.

My ranking videos don’t go from “worst to best” because there is no worst. It’s just about albums I play less frequently than others. As a musician myself, I respect the creative process and understand the thin-skinned nature of artistic creation. Everything I do is constructive and honest.

The Healing Power of Music
I truly believe that music heals. It keeps us young and maintains that sense of wonder in our hearts. Whether it’s a classic track or a new discovery, music can change the atmosphere of a room and uplift our spirits. For me, putting on “Burn” by Deep Purple at full volume does the trick.
Thank you all for your support and for being here. Keep spinning those discs, stay safe, and let’s look forward to a fantastic month ahead at Now Spinning Magazine.
