Robin George Interview – Now Spinning Magazine Podcast

In this episode, I am joined by Robin George who since the 1980s has built up a name for himself as a guitar player, musician, producer, songwriter and solo artist.

You may know Robin from his classic 1985 album Dangerous Music which contained the global hit Heartline which both Tommy Vance and Alan Freeman declared their record of the year.

Robin talks about his latest album and looks back at his career so far which has seen him play and record with Glenn Hughes, Phil Lynott, Magnum, Climax Blues Band, Pete Way, Waysted, Roy Wood, Diamond Head, Marshall Law, Wrathchild, Witchfinder General, The David Byron Band and many more.

A big thank you to my Robin George for being on the show and to all my subscribers.

Hi Phil – me again!
Just to let you know that, just before you posted this fascinating interview with Robin, I wrote a “RAMzine Classic’ article on The Byron Band’s On The Rocks and, after a delay caused by illness at the site, it was published today.
(As I type this I am waiting for the postman to bring me the new Purple album (on vinyl and CD ‘cos the vinyl had one track not on the CD (then Ear Music gave it as a free download!) and the brilliant new Bernie Marsden CD, Chess…complete with free pick as well as being signed by the man himself and that is why I buy physical and from the artist site whenever possible.)
