In this weeks episode I am Delighted to have with me vocalist, songwriter, pianist Sam Brown
You may know Sam Brown from her late 80s million selling hit Stop! Or one of her seven solo albums. However, I also know many Now Spinning Magazine viewers will be aware of her from her work with working with Gary Moore, George Harrison, Small Faces, Spandau Ballet, Adam Ant, Jon Lord (of Deep Purple), Pink Floyd (also David Gilmour) and The Firm.
Sam Brown has just released her latest album called ‘Number 8’ but the journey to this album is a unique one. It is a story about courage, determination, acceptance and creative thinking.
In the interview we go through the new album track by track and also look back at Sam’s career especially her time working with Jon Lord and Pink Floyd.
The new album is very different from what Sam Brown has done before but it is a very authentic and emotive album.
