Ken Kelly Tribute Video

Ken Kelly Tribute Video
Ken Kelly was responsible for many iconic and classic album covers. In this video I concentrate on the two main album covers I have in my collection by Ken, they are Destroyer by KISS and Rainbow Rising by Rainbow.

Let me know what your favourite albums covers are by Ken Kelly.

This video is dedicated to Ken Kelly and his family.

I got goosebumps when you described the artwork of the rainbow rising album cover. That album was one of the soundtracks of my young life, circa 1977 to 1980. You deserve a TV program on BBC or SKY. Your musical knowledge is astounding. And also RIP Mr Ken Kelly. He contributed so much to pop culture art. Condolences to his family. Jegaraj Ramoo

It was Love Gun for me. I purchased my very first copy of Sounds Magazine in June 1977. In the middle was a full two page avert showing the full front cover of Love Gun. I was totally mesmerised by it. Gene Simmons looked quite frightening, but I wasn’t scared. After this I saw the rest of the albums in the record shop. I was truly hooked and hadn’t even heard on note if music by Kiss at that time. Thankfully, when I did, I loved the music too. Roger Atkin
