Slade Alive – Splatter Vinyl Version – 2022
I have covered Slade Alive before when I did a video called ‘If Second Hand Records Could Talk’.
I also have it on CD but have always wanted a pristine version on vinyl. So when I saw that BMG was doing a limited run of reissues of Slade albums on vinyl I was very interested.
This is a classic live album from the early 1970s and contains possibly the best live version of Born To Be Wild this side of Blue Oyster Cult’s version!
The pressing is on splatter vinyl and is a nice quiet pressing, or as quiet as it can be with Slade going at it full throttle!
